Understanding, creating, and finding examples of alliteration and assonance
Here's a nice video that Sean and I worked on together during lunch. Remember these two definitions:
Alliteration: Repeating consonant sounds at the start of words that are nearby each other.
Assonance: Repeating vowel sounds at the start of words that are nearby each other.
Remember the hint? Alliteration ends in N! N is a consonant. Assonance ends in an E. E is a vowel!
