Brainstorming Evaluation Rubric (How we'll grade you)

Your brainstorming work from class and at home will count as a small writing and project grade.  This grade, along with other grades, will be used to evaluate your growth as a writer and student throughout the writing process of our personal narratives.

Brainstorming
At least 5 items per brainstorm are created
4 items per brainstorm are created
1-2 items from brainstorms are missing
3-4 items from brainstorms are missing
5 or more items from brainstorms are incomplete
Story creation
5 or more stories are one page or longer
4 or more stories are one page or longer;
stories could be added to, but are almost “there”
Stories are incomplete and show little work
One story is missing
Two or more stories are missing
