Cause and effect in writing

In writing, we often present topics in terms of cause and effect.  In other words, if I do something, there will be certain effects or results for my action. 

Here is my practice for "Organization" from the study guide:

Causes
--------
Keep binders organized
Keep locker organized
Keep agenda organized

Effects/results
-----------------
It will be harder to lose things
You'll be prepared for class and will have all of your materials
You'll know what is for homework and when assignments are due


Sample start to paragraph

Staying organized in sixth grade will help you to do your best.  After you have kept your binders organized, you'll see that you'll be able to find your work easily.  So, when you get to class, you'll have your homework and notes all in the right spot...
